About me
Hi, I’m Jacqueline – 46 years young and a passionate hobby photographer since my teenage years. After earning my degree in Business Administration and Marketing, I trained as a graphic designer and have now been working in a communication agency for nearly 19 years with great enthusiasm. Fifteen years ago, Fabian and I founded a small family business, which I’ve been managing ever since ;-) Today, it has five two-legged members, one four-legged companion, and even a legless one (a corn snake).

My Photography Journey
Even back in high school, I spent nearly every free moment in the school’s darkroom, mesmerized by the magic of watching an image appear from light and shadow. Photography has always been more than just a hobby—it’s my creative outlet, my way to focus deeply, and my key to being fully present in the moment.
My Digital Darkroom
As a graphic designer with nearly two decades of experience, I have a trained eye for imagery, composition, and detail. Reviewing and editing photos, refining their composition, and creating visual harmony are part of my everyday work. I love transforming a good photo into a captivating one with just a few subtle adjustments—and I’m excited to share that knowledge with you. On our women’s photography safari retreats in South Africa, I’ll guide you step-by-step, so you can return home with stunning, expressive images that you’ll be truly proud of.

I’m excited to share my passion for photography, wildlife, and South Africa with you (learn more about that story here: About Us).
Join me on this unforgettable adventure – it’s going to be truly magical!
With warm regards,
Jacqueline
