Breathtaking sunset over a South African river landscape – exclusive women’s photography tour in private game reserves with a professional photographer.
  • Welcome to South Africa! After your transfer from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport to the edge of the Kruger National Park, a charming chauffeur will escort you to the lodge. Along the way, with a bit of luck, we may spot our first wildlife sightings.

Once we arrive, we enjoy a relaxing welcome drink before settling into our beautiful rooms. There isn’t much time to unwind on the first day—but that hardly matters, as we cannot wait for our first safari game drive.

After an exciting day in the bush, we return at sunset for a delicious dinner and, hopefully, a few hours of restful sleep before the adventures of tomorrow.

  • A safari day begins early. Very early! We start at the crack of dawn, with two thrilling game drives on the agenda. Between adventures, we’ll indulge in delicious meals, take time to review and discuss the photos you’ve captured, and enjoy a few hours of well-deserved rest and relaxation.

  • After the morning game drive and a leisurely brunch, a chauffeur will pick us up and transfer us to Summerfields Rose Retreat & Spa.

On the way, we’ll pass a great shopping center, allowing for a short stop—after all, this is a Ladies’s Only journey ;-)

At Summerfields Rose Retreat & Spa, we’ll be warmly welcomed. Over the next two days, we’ll immerse ourselves in tranquility, enjoy the stunning surroundings, and savor delicious cuisine in a luxurious setting.

  • Give your soul the space to breathe.

  • We begin the morning at a relaxed pace, taking time to enjoy the calm before our next adventure. Soon, our private driver takes us into the world-famous Sabi Sands Game Reserve, home to some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife encounters. Our destination: the exclusive Little Bush Camp, a luxury safari lodge that feels like a dream. With its elegant design, attention to detail, and the warm hospitality of the hosts, it sets a new standard for indulgence in the African bush.

After a delicious refreshment, it’s time to pack our camera gear and head out on our first game drive in Sabi Sands, where unforgettable wildlife photography opportunities await.

We return full of impressions and incredible photos to a creative, flavorful dinner. The evening ends with the luxurious choice between a soak in the private whirlpool or slipping straight into bed, still surrounded by the sounds of the African night.

  • The days begin at dawn. We may not feel fully rested yet, but by the time we spot our first wildlife, everyone is wide awake. Who will we encounter in the first golden rays of sunlight?

Our female photography guide knows all the ladies and their equipment by now, giving personalized tips during each sighting to help every participant improve their wildlife photography skills.

After a satisfying brunch, we relax in the serene surroundings of our luxury lodge, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. There’s plenty of time to review and edit your standout photos, with guidance from our expert all-female team.

Once the hottest part of the day passes, we head out for another game drive, continuing until dusk. With a bit of luck, we may encounter some exciting nocturnal animals, offering unique wildlife photography opportunities.

Back at the lodge, we are always surprised by the stunning dining locations prepared for us. One thing is certain: every meal is a true culinary delight.

  • And then, all too soon, it’s time for the final game drive. Once more, we immerse ourselves in the sounds, scents, and magic of the African bush, capturing every wildlife encounter with heightened awareness and intensity.

After a hearty brunch, we bid farewell to the Greater Kruger wilderness and are transferred by our chauffeur to Skukuza Airport. With memory cards full of breathtaking wildlife photos, our hearts full of unforgettable memories, we conclude our “Safari. Photography. Spa. In South Africa—Ladies Only!” journey and return to Johannesburg.
